Acceptable use
Solta gives you a link and a site. These are the things you may not put on it.
Never
- Material that sexually exploits or endangers children. We scan for it, we remove it, and we report it.
- Sexual content of any kind. This is not a judgement about it; it is not what Solta is for.
- Anything that collects other people's passwords, card numbers or identity documents by pretending to be someone else.
- Malware, cryptocurrency miners, or code that runs on a visitor's machine without them knowing.
- Harassment, doxxing, or content that targets a private individual.
- Hate speech, or content that demeans people for who they are.
- Work that is not yours to publish.
- Pretending to be Solta, or implying we endorse you.
- Spam, and deceptive redirects.
What happens
Every version is checked before it is served. Most of that is automatic and takes a second or two; some of it is a person.
When something breaks these rules we quarantine it, remove it, or — for repeated or serious cases — suspend the account. We always say which rule, and we never make you guess. If you think we were wrong, tell us and a person will look again.
Forms
Tools can collect answers. That makes them useful and it also makes them a way to phish, so: anonymous tools cannot have forms, password fields are rejected outright, and a tool our checks flag has its submissions held rather than delivered.
