Solta

Changelog

What changed, newest first.

  1. 5 September 2026

    Folders, and the word site

Drop a folder onto /new, or a .zip, or give us a URL to read one from. Every file is served at the path you gave it. If there is no index.html, we write the page it opens on — a list of what is inside.

Solta's noun changed from “tool” to site, and the route from /t/ to /s/. Every old link redirects and always will.

  2. 5 September 2026

    Connect Claude and ChatGPT properly

Solta is now its own authorization server, so adding it as a connector is the ordinary flow: the client registers itself, you sign in, you press Allow. No key to paste.

Everything you have connected is listed at Settings → Connected apps, with what it was last used for and a disconnect that takes effect immediately.

  3. 4 September 2026

Updating a site, without the API

New version in the Viewer and the library. A new version is a draft: the link keeps serving what it served until you publish it, and the card says so before anyone has to wonder.

An older version can be put back live, and a version can be deleted — but never the one the link is serving.

    The first release

Paste a file, get a link. Versions, comments, embedding, and sites that work without an account for a day.
