What there is to read about publishing and sharing what you make with AI, and what there is to start from, in one place. Each page has a line on what it covers.
How-tos
- How to host your own website without renting a serverWhich kind of website you have, three steps to put a page online, and when you really do need a server.
- Send a Claude artifact to a client who has no Claude accountWhen Claude's own link is enough, and how to send it at a link a client opens with no Claude account.
- Host a Claude artifact at its own link, React includedHTML goes on any static host. A React component has to be built first, and there are three ways to do it.
- Why a Claude React artifact shows a blank page outside ClaudeJSX, bare imports, no mount, missing Tailwind and file:// addresses: what each looks like in the console, and the fix.
- Password-protect an HTML page, and what a script in the page cannot protectWhy a JavaScript password is not one, what a server-side gate does instead, and where to get one.
- Publish a ChatGPT canvas as a link anyone can openWhat ChatGPT's share link and Sites do, then two ways to give a canvas its own link: paste it, or publish it from the chat.
- Host an HTML file for free, and what each way does at the other endName it index.html, five free hosts and their limits, and what email or Drive does instead.
- Put a page you built with AI on your phone, like an appHome screen steps for iPhone, Android and a computer, and what makes a page installable rather than a bookmark.

How Solta works
- Get startedPublish what your AI made, share the link, collect feedback and update it, in four steps.
- PublishingPaste a file, drop a folder, or send a link. What happens to each, and what comes back.
- Describe itNo code yet? Describe the site and Solta builds a first version, then carry on in your own AI.
- Publish from your AI, app by appStep by step from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, pasted code, a folder or a PDF.
- Links and versionsEvery change is a version and the link never moves. What that promise costs and what it buys.
- Connector setup and referenceThe connector's address, the steps for Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code, and every tool it has.
- APIPublish and update from your own code, with the same key an agent uses.
- WebhooksTold the moment something happens, signed so you know it was us.
- Sharing a siteThe link to send, the one to get feedback on, a QR code to scan, and a frame for your website.
- Who can open itPublic, unlisted, password, invited, team, private — said in terms of what actually happens.
- EmbeddingPutting a site on your own website, and why it looks like your website when you do.
- Your own domainServing a site from an address you own, and the waiting that comes with DNS.
- Install as an appA site on someone's home screen or dock, in its own window, working offline.
- Working togetherWorkspaces, roles, seats and plans: what a shared library changes about who can do what.
- CommentsFeedback beside the site or pinned to a spot on it, on the version it is about: who can comment, drafts, replies, and resolving.
- Collecting answersA form on a static site, posting to somewhere that keeps what people send.
- Saving dataWhere what a site saves is kept: the visitor's browser, each visitor's on Solta, or shared by everyone.
- Calling a modelYour key, held here, so the page that uses it never has it. Or each visitor's own.
- What gets countedHow many people opened your sites, what a site's analytics show, and what we deliberately do not collect.
- What does not workSolta serves static files. Here is exactly where that line falls, and why it is there.
- A site on Solta shows a blank pageAlready published on Solta and drawing nothing: the usual reasons, and how the browser tells you which.
- My domain is not workingA proxy left on, a bare domain, a record pointing elsewhere, or a browser remembering the old answer.
- An embed will not loadWhen a frame stays empty: a gated site, a domain list, or your page's own Content Security Policy.
- Getting helpContact support, report a problem with one of your sites, or report somebody else's.
Notes from building it
- Two domains, and why one would be cheaperA published site is a file a stranger wrote, running in your browser. The only durable answer is which origin it runs in.
- Opening an archive somebody else madeA ZIP is an instruction from a stranger about where to write files and how much memory to use. Every default is to believe it.
- A link that does not moveThe hardest part of versioning is not keeping the old copies. It is refusing to change the address.
