Fair use
What is never counted, what each plan includes, and the few limits that are only there to stop abuse.
Never counted, on any plan
- How many sites you have. Unlimited, on every plan.
- The people who open what you publish, how many times they open it, and who comments or approves.
- Views and bandwidth. We don't charge for an audience.
The one number: a site serving more than 1 TB in a month gets an email from us first, so we can agree what to do together. We won't switch a site off for being popular.
What each plan includes
| Free | Pro | Team | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storage | 200 MB | 10 GB | 25 GB a publisher |
| Versions kept for each site | The last 5 | All | All |
| Form answers a month | — | 1,000 | 10,000 |
| Data saved on Solta, each site | 1 MB | 50 MB | 200 MB |
On every plan: a single file up to 2 MB, a folder or zip up to 50 MB and 500 files. The full list is on pricing.
Storage is the one thing a library can run out of. On Pro and Team, add 25 GB at a time for $5 a month each, any time, in Settings → Plan and billing (or the workspace's settings for Team). Nothing is ever deleted to make room.
Limits that only stop abuse
These are far above what a person does, and are there so a script can't use Solta against somebody else. Reaching one says to wait a moment; nothing is deleted.
- 120 publishes an hour signed in, 10 an hour without an account.
- 20 form answers an hour from one address, on one site.
- 5 newsletter sign-ups or data codes an hour from one address, on one site; these send an email, so they are held tightest.
What is never fair use
Anything in the acceptable use policy: phishing, malware, and the rest. Those sites come down whatever plan they are on.
