Publish from Claude and ChatGPT
The Solta connector is a remote MCP server. Add it to Claude or ChatGPT once, and in any conversation you can ask it to publish what was built there — a Claude artifact, a page ChatGPT wrote, a React component. You get back a link to a real site, with versions, access control and comments, and the people you send it to need no account to open it.

Add the Solta connector to Claude or ChatGPT
Claude
- 1On claude.ai or the desktop app: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- 2Paste the server URL, then Connect.
- 3Sign in to Solta and press Allow.
Added on the web or desktop, it is there on the Claude mobile apps too. Claude's guide
ChatGPT
- 1On a plan that allows custom connectors, open ChatGPT's settings on the web.
- 2Add a new connector with the server URL.
- 3Sign in to Solta and press Allow.
ChatGPT names and moves these menus often; OpenAI's documentation has the current path.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http solta https://mcp.solta.now/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in.
What you can ask the connector to do
- “Publish this to Solta and give me the link.”A new site, live at its own address.
create_site - “Update the pricing calculator with this version.”A new version, saved as a draft: the link keeps serving the old one until you say publish.
update_site - “Publish the draft.”The draft goes live at the same link.
publish - “Make it password-protected” or “only for these two people.”Who can open it, without the link changing.
set_accessInvited is Pro; a password, one site on Free - “Send it to Ana for approval.”The version waits until an approver says yes.
request_reviewPro - “Make it something I can install on my phone.”An Install app button for everyone who opens it; it opens in its own window and works offline.
set_installable - “Let people use their own AI on it.”Each visitor connects their own OpenRouter account and pays for their own calls. No key in the page.
set_visitor_ai - “What changed since version 3?”The versions, and the source side by side.
diff - “Any comments on the onboarding checklist?”What people said, on which version, and a reply.
get_comments - “Where did this month's visitors come from?”Views and visitors, and the countries, devices, pages and referrers behind them.
get_analytics - “Give me the code to embed it on our website.”The snippet, and the domains allowed to show it.
get_embed - “What's in my Solta library?”Your sites, newest first, or the ones matching a search.
list_sites - “Download version 2.”A ZIP of the source and the built files.

Questions about the connector
- What is MCP?
- The Model Context Protocol is the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to talk to other services. A connector is a server that speaks it; Solta's lets the model publish and manage your sites. modelcontextprotocol.io
- Does it need an API key?
- No. The client registers itself, sends you to Solta to sign in, and you press Allow — the same flow as any connector. There is nothing to copy and nothing to paste.
- Can it see my conversations?
- No. It receives only what the model sends it when you ask for something: the file to publish, or which site to change. It reaches your Solta library through the same API you use, and nothing else.
- Can it change a link I have already shared?
- Not by itself. An update is a draft until you say publish, so a link fifty people have open does not change because a model decided it was finished.
- Can I get back to the conversation a site came from?
- Yes. After publishing, paste the chat's address into the conversation and the connector links it; or paste it once in the site's menu in Solta. Then “Back to the original chat” opens that conversation, with everything said there. Only you can open your own chats, so it is your way back, not a link to share.
- What if the file contains an API key?
- Files are scanned for keys and passwords before anything is stored, and a file that contains one is refused.
- How do I disconnect it?
- Settings → Connected apps lists every app you have allowed and when it was last used. Disconnecting takes effect at once, on every token that app holds.
- What does it cost?
- The connector is free on every plan. What it can do follows your plan: on Free it publishes and updates public, unlisted and private sites, with a password on one site at a time; invited access and approval are Pro.
