Solta

Terms

What you can expect from Solta, and what we expect back.

Version 1.0, in effect from 8 October 2026.

Who we are

Solta is operated by Concealed, Unipessoal Lda, a company registered in Portugal with the single registration and tax number 514 292 695 and share capital of €6,000, with its registered office at Rua da Fonte, nº13, Toledo, 2530-781 Vimeiro LNH, Portugal. In these terms, “we” is that company and “you” is whoever uses Solta. Write to legal@solta.now about these terms, and to support@solta.now about anything else.

What Solta does

You give us a file or a folder. We give it an address and serve it to whoever you allow. Nothing of yours runs on our servers when someone opens it — the browser gets files — with the exceptions you switch on yourself: collecting answers to a form, and calling an AI model with a key you provide.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 to have an account. You sign in with an email address, which has to be yours, and you are responsible for what is done with your account. If you use Solta for a business, you confirm you may bind it to these terms. Publishing a site without an account is allowed, and that site disappears after 24 hours unless an account claims it.

Your work stays yours

You keep every right you had in what you publish. We take only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, serve it to the people you allow, make copies for backup and caching, check it against the acceptable use list, and show a preview picture of it in your own library and in link previews for sites you have made public. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

That permission ends when you delete the site, except for backups already taken, which age out on their own schedule. A template you choose to share for remixing can be copied by others on the terms you set for it.

What you may publish

Work that is yours to publish, and nothing on the acceptable use list. We check what you upload — for malware, for planted credentials, and for the categories on that list — and we refuse or remove what fails, telling you which rule and why. You can appeal any of those decisions, and anybody can report a site to us there.

Data you collect through Solta

When a site of yours collects answers to a form, or sends what a visitor types to an AI model, you decide what is collected and why, and you are the controller of that data under the GDPR. We process it only to provide those features, on your behalf and on these instructions: store it, show it to you, export it, forward it where you tell us to, and delete it when the retention you chose for the form runs out or when you delete it.

For that processing we: keep it confidential and limit it to the people who need it to run Solta; protect it with appropriate security, including encryption in transit; use only the companies on the sub-processors list, under terms that hold them to the same, and give 30 days’ notice before that list changes so you can object; help you answer requests from the people whose data it is; tell you without undue delay, and within 72 hours of learning of it, if it is breached; delete it, or give it back, when you close your account; and answer reasonable written questions about how we comply. Do not use Solta to collect health data, card numbers, or other special categories of data.

What we promise about the link

An address, once given to you, is not given to anyone else. If you rename or delete a site, the old address stops working rather than becoming somebody else's.

We do not promise the service is always up, and there is no service level or credit for downtime. We do promise to tell you when it is not, and to make what you published exportable so that leaving is a download rather than a negotiation. If we ever close Solta, we will tell you at least 30 days before, so you can take everything with you.

Paying

Free accounts publish and viewers are free on every plan, always. Paid plans are sold by Stripe, as the merchant of record, under Stripe’s own terms of sale: Stripe charges you, issues the invoice and accounts for VAT. They are charged in advance in US dollars for the month or year you chose, with VAT added for your country, and renew until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from Settings, and it takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, when the account returns to Free. Deleting your account ends a paid plan at once, and the time left is not refunded. Any refund, and any right of withdrawal you have as a consumer, is handled by Stripe as the seller; nothing here limits it. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price or a plan’s limits change for you.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, and take your work with you. What you published stops serving at once and is deleted within 30 days.

We may suspend a site or an account that breaks the acceptable use list, that is being used to attack the service or the people using it, or that puts others at risk. We tell you why and give you a route to appeal, and where the problem can be fixed we give you the chance to fix it first — except where the content is illegal and the harm is immediate, when we act first and explain straight after.

What we are not responsible for

Solta is provided as it is and as it is available, without promises beyond the ones on this page. We are not responsible for what somebody else publishes, for a site you publish, or for how the people you share it with use it.

If you use Solta for a business, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid for Solta in the twelve months before the event, or €100, and we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost business. None of this limits liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, for what we do on purpose or through gross negligence, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited — and if you are a consumer, nothing here takes away a right the law gives you.

If you use Solta for a business and somebody brings a claim against us because of what you published or collected through it, you will cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close your account before then; carrying on afterwards is agreeing. Changes that only make things clearer, or that the law requires sooner, can take effect earlier.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you use Solta for a business, the courts of the district of our registered office decide any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and can bring a claim in its courts.

Tell us first, at support@solta.now. If you are a consumer in Portugal and we cannot settle it, you can also use the complaints book, the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico, or an alternative dispute resolution entity: the CNIACC (Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo), or the consumer arbitration centre of your area, listed on the Portal do Consumidor.

The rest

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something straight away is not giving it up. You may not transfer your account to somebody else without our agreement; we may transfer these terms to whoever takes over running Solta, and would tell you first. These terms, the acceptable use list and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us.
