Embed a Claude artifact or a ChatGPT calculator on your website

By

A website builder can show any page that has a public address, in a frame. So the way to put a calculator, a quiz or a dashboard from Claude or ChatGPT on your website is to give it an address first, then paste two lines into your builder's HTML block.

How do I embed something Claude or ChatGPT built on my website?

Publish it at a link anyone can open, then paste that link's embed snippet into an HTML block on your website. Claude's own embed code covers only a legacy artifact published from a chat; everything else Claude shares asks the viewer to sign in, so it can't be shown to your visitors. On Solta, paste the HTML or React file at solta.now/new, or ask Claude or ChatGPT to publish it through the connector. Set it to Public or Unlisted, open its More menu, choose Embed on a site and copy the snippet: an iframe and a small script that sizes the frame to the page. Paste it into a Custom HTML block in WordPress, the HTML section of an Embed in Framer, a Code block in Squarespace or Embed HTML in Wix. The frame sets no cookies, and when you publish a new version, every page that embeds it shows the new one with nothing to paste again.

Paste your page in the box below

What Claude's own embed code covers

Anthropic's help article on sharing, read on 22 October 2026, offers Get embed code for one kind only: a legacy artifact, made in a chat before 16 September 2026 and published from it on Free, Pro or Max. After publishing, you list the websites allowed to embed it under Allowed domains. Anything else Claude shares opens only for people signed in to Claude, so in a frame on your website, a visitor without a Claude account can't see it. Claude Help Center: Share artifacts.

A ChatGPT share link shares the conversation. What ChatGPT can share by itself, from OpenAI's pages, is in publishing a ChatGPT canvas as a link.

1. Give it a link of its own

  1. Copy the code from Claude or ChatGPT, or download the file.
  2. Paste it into the box at the foot of this page. An HTML file is served as it is; a React component is built into a page when you publish it, with Tailwind and the shadcn/ui components it imports. Or publish it from inside the chat, and the link comes back there.
  3. Leave it Unlisted, as a new site starts, or make it Public. Only those two can be embedded: a site behind a password or invitations needs a page of its own to check who is asking, which a frame can't give it.

2. Copy the snippet

Open the site in Solta, then the More menu, and choose Embed on a site. The snippet is filled in and ready to copy. For a site called roi-calculator it reads:

<iframe src="https://roi-calculator.solta.site/?embed=1" title="ROI calculator"
        style="display:block;width:100%;height:480px;border:0" loading="lazy"
        allow="clipboard-write" data-solta></iframe>
<script async src="https://solta.now/embed.js"></script>

That is Auto height, the default: a frame with no border, and a script that matches its height to the page as it changes, so there is no gap under it and no scrollbar inside. Fixed height is the frame alone, at a height you choose, scrolling inside when the page is taller. Use it where a builder strips scripts or puts your code in a frame of its own. How the snippet works.

3. Paste it into your website builder

Each builder's steps as its own help page gave them on 22 October 2026.

WordPress

Add a Custom HTML block: click the block inserter, or type /html in a new paragraph and press Enter. Choose Edit HTML, paste the snippet, check the preview beside it and press Update. Since WordPress 7.0, somebody without the unfiltered_html capability, such as a Contributor, has <script> and <iframe> stripped when the post is saved, so paste it as an Administrator or Editor. WordPress documentation: Custom HTML.

On WordPress.com, the same block keeps an iframe or a script only on a paid plan with hosting features active, which its help page says needs at least one plugin installed. WordPress.com Support: Custom HTML block.

Framer

Open the Insert menu, search for Embed and drag it onto the canvas. Paste the snippet into its HTML section, or give it the site's link as its URL. Framer warns that some websites block being embedded through their HTTP headers; a Solta site allows any website until you list domains, and then only those. Framer Help: How to add an iframe or embed script.

Squarespace

In the page editor, add a block, choose Code, click the pencil and paste the snippet. Squarespace keeps JavaScript or an iframe in a code block only on its Core, Plus and Advanced plans. Squarespace Help: Add custom code to a page with code blocks.

Wix

Click Add Elements, then Embed Code, Popular Embeds and Embed HTML. Choose Enter Code, paste the snippet and press Apply. Wix shows only HTTPS code, which a Solta site is, and says its HTML element is itself an iframe, so what is inside it won't be responsive. Choose Fixed height in Solta and give the Wix element the same height. Wix Help: Embedding a Site or a Widget.

Anywhere else

Webflow, HubSpot, a page you wrote yourself: wherever a page accepts HTML, paste the snippet there. Where it accepts only a link, give it the site's link and set the height yourself.

If it doesn't show up

  • It has a password or invitations. Set it to Public or Unlisted.
  • You listed domains. Add your website's own domain, or the frame shows a placeholder there. The browser enforces the list, so it can't be faked.
  • Your website has a Content Security Policy. It has to allow the frame, and the script for Auto height.

Each case, and what to change: when an embed will not load.

A quiz or a form that collects answers

A quiz built in a chat usually scores itself in the browser and keeps nothing. To keep what people answer, point its form at the site's own address, at /_solta/forms/ and a name you choose: Solta keeps each answer, in the site's Answers tab with a CSV, up to 100 a month on Free. Forms and answers. Its analytics count views from inside a frame separately, as embedded, so you can see how many came through your website.

When you change it

An update is saved as a draft, and the frame keeps showing the live version until you publish the new one. Then every page that embeds it shows the new version, with nothing to paste again. On Free the frame has a small Solta badge in its corner; Pro and Team remove it, and let you choose which domains may show it. Embeds, plan by plan.

Questions

Can I embed a Claude artifact on my website?

Only a legacy one with Claude's own code: Anthropic's help article offers Get embed code for an artifact made in a chat before 16 September 2026 and published from it, on Free, Pro or Max. Anything else Claude shares needs a Claude account to open, so your website's visitors can't see it in a frame. Publish the code at a link of its own instead, and embed that.

Can I put a calculator ChatGPT made on WordPress or Framer?

Yes, once it is at a link that anyone can open. Publish the HTML or React file on Solta, copy the two-line snippet from Embed on a site, and paste it into a Custom HTML block in WordPress or the HTML section of an Embed in Framer.

Does the embed update when I change the page?

Yes. The snippet points at the site's address, and that address serves whichever version is live. Publish a new version and every page that embeds it shows the new one, with nothing to paste again.

Can I embed a page that has a password?

No. Only a Public or Unlisted site can be embedded: a frame that skipped the password would make it a password in name only. Embed a public or unlisted copy, or send the protected one as a link.

Is embedding free?

Yes, on every plan. On Free the frame shows a small Solta badge in the corner. Choosing which domains may show it, and no badge, come with Pro and Team.

Does the embed set cookies?

No. The frame and its script set no cookies, and the page runs at its own address, so it can't read your website's cookies, storage or page either.

Try it with your own file

No account needed. Paste it or drop it, and the link is yours to keep once you claim it.

Or publish it from the chat

Add Solta to Claude or ChatGPT once, then ask in any conversation to publish what it built. The link comes back in the chat.
