Podcast episode page template

What it is
An episode page for a made-up podcast about running a creative studio. It has chapters, a waveform you can scrub, play and pause, back 15 and forward 30 seconds, and six playback speeds. The transcript highlights the line being spoken, and you can search it and click a line to jump there. The people in the episode and the things mentioned in it are listed, keyboard shortcuts work, and Copy link gives an address that starts at the current second. There is no audio file in the template: playback runs on a timer, and Sound plays a soft tone made in the browser, so the chapters, waveform and transcript have something to follow.
Who it's for
Podcasters, and teams who publish webinars or recorded talks with a transcript, who want an episode page they control.
What you can change
You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:
- “Replace the timer with a real audio player for my episode's MP3 at this address.”
- “Use this transcript instead, and make the chapters from it.”
- “Add Apple Podcasts and Spotify links under the title.”
- “Change the colors to my show's.”
How to make it yours
- Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
- Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “In my Episode player, replace the timer with a real audio player for my episode at this address.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
- Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.
Questions
Does it play real audio?
Not as it comes: the template has no audio file, so playback is a timer. Ask your AI to swap it for an audio element pointing at your episode's file, at an https address or published with the site.
Can a link start partway through?
Yes. An address ending #t=123, #t=4:20 or #t=4m20s starts at that point, and Copy link writes one for wherever the player is.
