Landing page template

What it is

A landing page for a made-up time-tracking app, in the order people read one. A promise and an email sign-up sit above the fold next to a drawing of the product, then the studios in its pilot, three features, how it works in three steps, a customer quote, three plans with a monthly or yearly switch, four questions that open and close, and the sign-up again at the end. The sign-up checks the address and sends it to a waitlist form; the page remembers in the browser that the visitor signed up, so it does not ask twice. Everything shown is a sample, and nothing loads from anywhere else.

Who it's for

Founders, makers and small teams who want a page for a product or an idea before it ships, to see whether anyone signs up.

What you can change

You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:

  • “Make it about my product: a meal-kit service for new parents, with these three features.”
  • “Change the plans to Basic at $5 and Pro at $15 a month, and drop the yearly switch.”
  • “Swap the drawn app for this screenshot.”
  • “Ask for a name and a company as well as the email.”
  • “Add a countdown to our launch day, March 3.”

How to make it yours

  1. Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
  2. Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “Make my Landing page about our meal-kit service for new parents, with these three features and two plans.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
  3. Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.
  4. Turn the form on. This template posts each email address and which of the two sign-up boxes it came from to /_solta/forms/waitlist. In the site's Site settings → Forms, switch that form on; until you do, nothing is kept. Collecting answers is on every plan (how forms work).

Questions

Where do the sign-ups go?

The page posts each address to /_solta/forms/waitlist, at its own address. Turn that form on in Site settings → Forms and every sign-up lands in the Answers tab, where you can download them, and in your inbox if you ask for that. Until you do, the page tells the visitor their address was not sent. Collecting answers is on every plan.

Can I see how many people visit?

Yes. Every site counts how many times it was opened: open it in Solta and choose Analytics. With the form on, sign-ups over visits is the number to watch.

Can I take payments on it?

Not on the page. The pricing is there to show; link each plan's button to your checkout page if you have one, or keep it as a waitlist until you do.

Or start from what you already have

Paste the file your AI made, or publish it from the chat, and get a link of its own.
