What it is
A return-on-investment calculator for a made-up accounts payable product. Five sliders describe the prospect's team today: invoices a month, minutes per invoice, the hourly cost of the staff, the share of invoices with errors and the cost of fixing one. From those it works out the monthly saving, the payback period, the hours saved a year and the net benefit over three years, with a month-by-month chart and a table by year. Conservative, expected and optimistic scenarios sit side by side, and the pricing and scenario assumptions open in a panel you can edit. Every number is kept in the link, so Copy link opens the same figures for whoever you send it to, and Copy summary gives a plain-text version for an email.
Who it's for
Sales teams and founders who walk a prospect through the business case on a call and want to leave them with the same numbers afterwards.
What you can change
You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:
- “Change the inputs to seats, hours saved per person each week and hourly rate, for a project management product.”
- “Use our pricing: $49 per seat a month and a $2,000 setup fee.”
- “Show every amount in euros instead of US dollars.”
- “Add a Book a demo button under the results that links to my calendar page.”
- “Make the conservative scenario assume 30% of handling time saved instead of 45%.”
How to make it yours
- Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
- Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “In my ROI calculator, use our pricing: $49 per seat a month and a $2,000 setup fee.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
- Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.
Questions
Does it save what a prospect types?
Only in the link, unless you choose to collect answers. The numbers are written into the address after the #, which changes as the sliders move, so a copied link carries them, and nothing is sent to you or to Solta. If you add a form and switch on collecting answers in the site's settings, what a prospect sends through it comes to you, kept for 30 days on Free or for as long as you choose on Pro and Team.
Can I put it on my company's website?
Yes. Every site can be embedded with one snippet; see Embedding. On Free the embed carries a small Solta badge.
