tiiny.host alternatives: 8 places to host an HTML file or a small site
tiiny.host is a quick way to put an HTML file online. These are eight other ways, with what each one's free plan allows, what it costs after that, and where it is weaker. Solta is one of them, and it says so.
tiiny.host's free plan is 1 live site, uploads up to 3 MB and 5,000 visits a month, with a tiiny.host banner, and it stays online while you log in once every three months.1, 2, 3

1. Netlify Drop
- What it is
- Netlify's drag-and-drop way in: drop a folder or zip on a page and get a live address, with no account to start.5
- Free plan
- A free plan with 300 credits, custom domains with SSL, deploy previews and a global CDN. Bandwidth is paid for in credits.4
- Price
- Personal $9 a month; Pro $20 a month with unlimited members.4
- Best for
- A finished site, or a project Netlify can build for you, that should live on your own domain.4, 5
- Where it falls short
- Dropped while signed out, the site sits behind a temporary password until you claim it by signing up. Its guide says to keep a drop under 50 MB. A password on a whole site is on Pro only.5, 17
- Where it beats Solta
- Your own domain with SSL on the free plan, and functions that run code on a server. Solta runs no server code, and its own domain needs Pro.4
2. GitHub Pages
- What it is

- Free plan
- Free in public repositories on GitHub Free. Sites up to 1 GB, with a soft limit of 100 GB of bandwidth a month.6, 7
- Price

- Best for
- People who already keep their work on GitHub, and want a free site on their own domain.6
3. Cloudflare Pages
- What it is
- Cloudflare's hosting for static sites, from a Git repository or from files dragged into its dashboard.9, 10
- Free plan
- A free plan: requests for static files are free and unlimited, with 500 builds a month and up to 100 custom domains a project. A drag-and-drop upload takes up to 1,000 files, each up to 25 MiB.8, 9, 10
- Price
- The paid Workers plan starts at $5 a month, which raises the limits for code that runs on the server.11
- Best for
- A site that may get a lot of traffic, or needs several domains, built by someone at home in a developer dashboard.8, 9
- Where it falls short
- You work in Cloudflare's developer dashboard, with a Cloudflare account. A dropped upload with one file too large has to be uploaded again in full.10
4. Neocities
- What it is
- A host for personal websites, with an editor in the browser, site profiles and a way to follow other sites.12
- Free plan
- 1 GB of storage and 200 GB of bandwidth, a subdomain with SSL, and no advertising.12
- Price
- Supporter is $5 a month: 50 GB of storage, custom domains, more than one site and any file type.12

- A personal site you write and edit by hand, in the browser.12
- Where it falls short
- Custom domains, more than one site and any file type are for Supporters only.12
- Where it beats Solta
- More free storage, 1 GB against Solta's 200 MB, an editor in the browser, and a community of sites around yours.12
5. Surge

- Price
- Professional is $30 a month: password protection, custom SSL, redirects and unlimited projects.13

- Free plan
- No free plan. A 7-day trial with no card: 1 website and 50 MB.15
- Price
- Starter $5 a month billed yearly, or $6 monthly; Medium $10; Large $15.15
- Best for
- A few small HTML sites with forms, analytics and your own domain, at a low monthly price.15
- Where it falls short
- After the trial, the site needs a paid plan. Its own page says a React artifact has to be turned into HTML first.15, 18
- Where it beats Solta
- Your own domain from Starter, which costs less than Solta's Pro, and files up to 1 GB each.15
7. Pagelive
- What it is
- A host for HTML made with AI: drop or paste an .html file, or say “publish this” in Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.19
- Free plan
- 2 live public pages, the latest version only, a view count on each, and the Pagelive badge.16
