What it is

A chore chart for a made-up family of four, two adults and two children. Each chore belongs to one person, falls on the days of the week you pick and is worth one to ten stars. The Day view lists a day's chores person by person with big boxes to tick; the Week view is the classic grid, a row for each chore and a column for each day, and it is what Print chart puts on paper for the fridge. Stars add up through the week toward each person's goal and reward, like picking Friday's movie, and the card says when it is earned. Ticks are kept by date, so a new week starts empty and past weeks stay, and future days cannot be ticked. People, colors, goals, rewards and chores are all changed in the Edit view, and everything is saved in the browser.

Who it's for

Parents who want a chore chart the kids can tick on a tablet or phone, households and roommates sharing the work, and anyone who would rather print one than buy one.

What you can change

You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:

  • “Make it our family: Mom, Dad, Ava who is 9 and Ben who is 6, with these chores.”
  • “Use pocket money instead of stars: 50 cents a chore, paid on Sunday.”
  • “Rotate the dishes between the kids every week.”
  • “Show a picture next to each chore for a child who cannot read yet.”

How to make it yours

  1. Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
  2. Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “Make my Chore chart our family: Mom, Dad, Ava and Ben, with these chores for each of us.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
  3. Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.

Questions

Does the whole family see the same ticks?

Only on the same device. Ticks are saved in the browser's storage on that phone or tablet, under chore-chart:v1, and nothing is sent anywhere, so a shared family tablet works best. Copy the week sends a text summary to anyone else.

Can I put it on the kids' tablet like an app?

Yes. Turn on Install as an app in the site's settings (it is on every plan), open the link on the tablet and add it to the home screen.

Or start from what you already have

Paste the file your AI made, or publish it from the chat, and get a link of its own.
