Group card template

What it is

A leaving card for a made-up designer, Jonah, from his team. Everyone who opens the link presses Sign the card, writes a message of up to 600 characters and their name, and picks one of six colours and a sticker; the messages sit on the card as notes, in the order they came, and the top says how many there are and how much room is left. Open the card plays them one at a time, large, with confetti, for the leaving drinks or a video call, and the arrow keys move through them. Copy link shares it, and Print gives a clean page of every message. Your copy keeps its messages on Solta as a group card, so everyone sees everybody's; Solta's own template shows sample messages instead and keeps what you write on your device.

Who it's for

Whoever is collecting the card: for a colleague leaving or retiring, a birthday, a teacher's thank-you, a get-well card, from a team that isn't in one room.

What you can change

You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:

  • “Make it Maya's birthday card from the support team.”
  • “Change the title to Happy retirement, Ruth! and the words under it.”
  • “Use our company's navy and yellow instead of the pinks.”
  • “Take out the stickers.”
  • “Add a line asking people to sign by Thursday.”

How to make it yours

  1. Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
  2. Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “Make my Group card Maya's birthday card from the support team, and change the words at the top.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
  3. Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.

Questions

Where do the messages go?

Your copy is a group card from the start (Site settings → Saved data): each message is kept on Solta for you, and everyone with the link reads them all. You see every message there too, with a button to remove one. A message can't be changed once posted.

How many people can sign?

10 messages are free on every card. A card pass opens one card to 1,000 for $9 once, with no subscription, and Pro and Team cards take 1,000 without one. When a card is full, a new message stays on its writer's device, which says so, until there is room.

Do people need an account to sign?

No. They open the link and sign. Only whoever makes the copy has a Solta account.

Or start from what you already have

Paste the file your AI made, or publish it from the chat, and get a link of its own.
