What it is

A wedding planning checklist for a made-up couple, Priya and Daniel, with 42 tasks in nine stages, from twelve months out to the weeks after. Each task has a due date counted from the wedding date, who it belongs to (one of you, the other or both), an optional note and a box to tick, so changing the date in Names and date moves the whole timeline. A countdown shows the days to go, a ring shows how much is done, Up next lists the three nearest open tasks, and anything past its date is marked overdue. Filter by person or by open, done or overdue, and add, edit or delete tasks in any stage. On the first visit the wedding is a Saturday about ten months away. The list is saved in the browser as you go, copies as plain text and prints as a clean list.

Who it's for

Couples planning their own wedding who want one list with dates that follow their wedding day, and anyone helping them plan it.

What you can change

You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:

  • “Put in our names, Alex and Sam, our date, June 14, and our venue.”
  • “Add a stage for the bachelor and bachelorette parties, two months out.”
  • “Remove the honeymoon tasks; we are going later.”
  • “Add a budget column with what each task costs and a running total.”

How to make it yours

  1. Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
  2. Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “In my Wedding checklist, put in our names, our date and our venue, and remove the honeymoon tasks.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
  3. Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.

Questions

Can my partner tick things off on their phone?

Each browser keeps its own copy, in the browser's storage under wedding-checklist:v1, and nothing is sent anywhere, so two phones do not see each other's ticks. Keep the list on one device, send each other the text from Copy as text, or ask your AI to write your tasks into the page and publish a new version when they change.

What happens if we move the date?

Open Names and date and change it. Every task is stored as a number of days before or after the wedding, so every due date moves with it, including the tasks you added.

Or start from what you already have

Paste the file your AI made, or publish it from the chat, and get a link of its own.
