Share interactive exercises and quizzes with a class, at a link students open without an account
An exercise you built in a chat works for one person: you. Publish it and the class gets a link that opens in any browser, on a school laptop or a phone, with nothing to sign up for.
Students need the link and nothing else
Public and Unlisted sites open for anyone who has the link, with no account of any kind, on every plan. Unlisted is usually right for a class: search engines are asked not to index it and it stays off your profile. It is not a secret, though, and anyone in the class can pass it on.
To keep it to the class, Password, on every plan (one site at a time until you pay), asks for a password before anything loads.

Private while you write it, and steady once it is shared
Private, on every plan, keeps a site to you and the people who can edit it while you work on it.
Once it is shared, every change is saved as a draft first: the class keeps the version they have until you publish the next one, and each published version keeps a permanent address, so last term's still opens. Free keeps the last 5 versions; Pro and Team keep all of them.

Installable as an app, and working offline
Turn on Install as an app in a site's settings, on every plan, and students can put it on a home screen, where it opens in its own window. Anything the exercise saves in the browser, such as ticked answers or a score, stays on that device between visits, and it works offline with the last version that device opened.

Collecting what students submit, when you need to
An exercise that checks answers in the page needs nothing else. To receive what students send, a form on the site posts to its own address and you turn it on in Site settings → Forms, with every plan. Answers are kept for 30 days, or, on a paid plan, for a year unless you choose 30 days or until you delete them, form by form.

Inside a course page or a school website
A public or unlisted site can sit inside another page with the snippet from its Embed dialog, on every plan, wherever that page allows frames. A site behind a password cannot be embedded, and on Free an embed carries a small mark in the corner.

A vocabulary quiz for Monday
Everything here is on every plan.
- Ask Claude for a twenty-question vocabulary quiz that marks answers as students go, and publish it to Solta from the chat with the connector.
- In Who can open this, choose Private while you try it on your own phone.
- Ask Claude to fix two questions. Each change is saved as a draft until you publish it.
- Switch it to Unlisted, turn on Install as an app, and put the link on the class page.
- Students open it with no account. On a phone they can add it to the home screen, where anything the quiz saves stays on that device.
Questions people ask
Do students need an account or an email address?
Not for a public or unlisted site: the link is all they need. Invited, on Pro and Team, does ask each person to verify an email address once.
Does Solta track my students?
A site's analytics count views and visitors without cookies, identifiers or fingerprints, and keep only totals by day, country, device, page and referring domain. You cannot see who opened it, and neither can we.
Can a quiz keep a class leaderboard?
Not by itself. Solta serves static files, so nothing of yours runs on a server, and a score saved in the page stays on each student's device. Answers sent through a form reach you, not the other students.
Try it with your own file
No account needed. Paste it or drop it, and the link is yours to keep once you claim it.
Or publish it from the chat
Add Solta to Claude or ChatGPT once, then ask in any conversation to publish what it built. The link comes back in the chat.
