What it is
A salon price list for a made-up hair studio: cuts, colour, treatments and styling, each service with a short note, how long it takes and a price for each stylist level, or one price where the level makes no difference. Clients filter by section or search on a phone. Edit prices turns every name, note, duration and price into a field; add or remove a service, rename the levels, change the currency, or raise every price by a percentage at once, with Undo for a few seconds after. Every change dates the list, and the list is saved in the browser where you edit it. Print gives an A4 page in two columns for the front desk, and Copy as text gives it for a message.
Who it's for
Salons, barbers, spas, cleaners, tutors and anyone else who sells services and wants one price list to send as a link, show on a phone and print.
What you can change
You ask in plain words. These are the kind of changes people ask their AI for:
- “Make it my barbershop: cuts, beard and shaves, with one price each and no levels.”
- “Put in my services and prices from this list.”
- “Add a column for a junior stylist, and show prices in euros.”
- “Use my brand colours and add my logo at the top.”
How to make it yours
- Remix it. A copy lands in your library as a site of your own, at its own link. If you have no account yet, you are asked to make one, and the copy is made when you come back.
- Change it in Claude or ChatGPT. Add the Solta connector once, then ask for the change in plain words, for example: “Make my Price list a barbershop's, with cuts, beards and shaves at these prices.” It reads the site's code, makes the change and saves it as a draft. The link keeps showing the old version until you publish.
- Publish. Ask it to publish, or publish from the site in your library. The new version goes live at the same link, so nobody needs a new one.
Questions
Where are my edits saved?
In the browser's storage on the device where you edit, under price-list:v1, so your clients do not see them. Everyone who opens the link sees the published list. To change it for everyone, ask your AI to put the new prices in and publish.
How does raising every price work?
Type a percentage in Edit prices and press Apply: every price goes up (or down, for a negative number) by that much, rounded to the nearest whole unit of the currency, and Undo puts them back for a few seconds after.
Can I print it?
Yes. Print gives an A4 page in two columns with your address, phone and hours at the top and the date the prices were last changed at the bottom, without the buttons.
